Directed by the Holy Spirit I have been led to write this fictional story of a young man who at the time of his crime was not a Christian who was given a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. As part of the initiation into a street gang the young man had to prove he could steal a car and use a gun. In the story the young man was involved in a drive by shooting which resulted in the killing of an innocent child
In the book of II Peter we are informed that it is not God’s will that any should perish, the only way out for these individuals is the “Rapture” when Jesus comes for all who have their names written in the Book of life. I pray this story will be influential in helping those incarcerated come to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
